Transfering SUGAR Crafts!!

Hey!

Okay, I just found a really, really nice web hoster. It is called wordpress. Now, I've been having a lot of problems with blogger, so we are going to transfer SUGAR Crafts to Wordpress!! Since we are doing that, you DON'T (I repeat: Don't. As in Do Not Have To If You Do Not Want Too) have to do this months assignment.

I am really sorry for the inconvenace that I've caused too everyone that's on the Crafts Committee. As of now, I'm transfering this blog!!

Yay!! So I'll send out an email to everyone when it is finished.

Boo-ya!!!

Hello my fellow SUGAR Sisters!!!

Oh yeah!!!! I finished it!! My scarf is finished!!! And I must say, I'm really proud of myself for finishing it (but Lady Jasme and Linda T. beat me to the finish line...lol).
Like I said before, my scarf is for a project. This project has
hundreds of people all over the United States of America KNITTING OR CROCHETING FOR ORPHENS THAT ARE IN COLLAGE. Just imagine, these people never got picked. They were never wanted. And now they get a beautiful scarf from someone they don't even know saying that "I Feel for you" or "Prayed while knitting" or "Stitches of Love". If I were them, I would feel so loved because someone devoted their time to make them a present.

Not only that, but I knitted them a hat too!! My first hat ever and I'm giving it to a person!! God, I feel all warm and fuzzy!!! I'm even thinking about making some socks too, for them. And a pair of mittens, but I don't know if I would be able to get it done by the due date.

And guess what, Ladies? This happens every year!! So when this is done, I'm going to make the best gift ever; a pair of socks, a pair of mittens, hat, scarf, and something else for the cold season!! Maybe a robe!

I'm really happy!!!

See ya on the flip side,

Bookmark I made

Well I have to take a picture of it and add it here. I just now got added to this blog, so I felt I had to say something. I finished the bookmark last night. It's red with a pink border and a pink ribbon in the middle. I didn't happen to have red on hand. I will take a picture of it as the next two days are my days off so I'll hopefully have more time.

Oh yes....I am an avid crocheter. I would love to do much more, but time constraints due to work and other things. So I'm always going back to my crochet crafts.
Hugs,
Linda T.

Lady Jasme Project

It is so hard for me to learn..but I am willing to try. I have played along with a needle and that is what I came up with. I will look over the net and try to find an easy tutorial for crochet and I will then keep you all updated.

Thanks much, Lady Jasme(MzFe)

Ready? Set? Craft!

Well, it is January, everyone! That means it is the start of the first project of the SUGAR Crafts! Yahoo!!!!!! So, since it's January, the color for this month is red because of the birthstone "Garnet."

I don't know aboutu anyone else, but I've started knitting like mad!!! Here is my progress report...in pictures!

My scarf in dubbing for this and another project; The Red Scarf Project. What you do is you make a red scarf, about 15-20 sts and about 60 inch. long for an orphan. It is amazing how many there are. These go to orphans that never got 'picked' and they are going through life knowing that no one wanted them. Well, this little project shows them that people do care for them!! It is a good cause! Now, you don't have to do any fancy knitting (I'm just doing k3, p3 [knit three, purl three] over and over again). It is the thoughts behind the present that makes it awesome!

If you want to do it, it isn't to late. Just go to
The Red Scarf Project 2007

Now it probably would take you a little while to do, but it is for a good cause!

See ya on the flip side!
